Bike Rental Terms & Conditions

By signing this contract with Yellow Zebra Tours, the Owner gives the bike with the accessories for rent for the Tenant. The contract is valid for the agreed period.The bicycle was handed over on the same day as the contract was signed.

At the end of the agreed rental period the Tenant must return the bike and it must be handed over to the representative of the Owner.The Owner or their Representative states that the bicycle mechanical condition meets the requirements of safe transport. It is the responsibility of the Tenant to have the experience and practice to ride a bicycle. On the bicycle only one adult is able to ride, no passengers allowed.

By accepting the bicycle the Tenant is responsible for any damage, malfunction caused by him during the rental period including the situation of Vis maior, it is accepted by the Tenant. The Tenant is also financially responsible for any damage caused in the bicycle (parts and accessories) by somebody else during the rental period. The Tenant also takes full responsibility for the accidents, offences, crimes he caused with the bike, also responsible if the bicycle has been stolen, lost or destroyed. The Tenant must notify the Owner/Landlord or their Representative in case of any of the incidents listed above ( especially damage or loss).

The requested and agreed deposit serves as partial collateral security in case any damage was done on the bike, or the bicycle was stolen, bike parts and accessories.In the case if the Tenant is not returning the bicycle 24 hours after the agreed rental period the Owner has the right to start criminal prosecution as the bicycle is suspected to be stolen and requires the price of the bicycleThe Tenant must use the bike as it is in the instructions and must keep the rules of the KRESZ (local traffic regulations) and use the bicycle accordingly. The bicycle can be only used by the Tenant. It can not be given for rent to another person and can not be given to a third party person

In the case if the Tenant returns the bike in the damaged or harmed condition to the Owner/Landlord or their Representative, the Tenant must pay the cost of the repair. The Tenant understands that the price will be calculated based on a fixed price listed in the damage cost list. The Tenant also should pay this if the damage was caused by a third person. In the case of dispute at the time of the return a report should be made which includes the full description of the incident, and the opinion of the Parties and photos must be included to document the damage.

Issues not regulated by this contract shall be governed by the relevant provisions of Act V of 2013 on the Civil Code (hereinafter: Civil Code). The Parties agree that all disputes shall be settled amicably. If the Parties are unable to reach agreement on the dispute in question, the matter shall be submitted to the court having general jurisdiction.

By signing this Agreement, the Tenant agrees that the Owner will make a photocopy of his / her identity card / passport and address card and retain them for the purposes of this legal relationship and manage his / her personal data.

This Agreement has been read, interpreted and signed by the Parties, which is in full conformity with their will.

Terms & Conditions of the tours

You accept and agree to the following conditions when making an online booking via our website: 
We reserve the right to alter and change tour programs without prior notice due to construction, city closures for events, festivals and so on throughout the year.
  • To receive the student rate, you will need to present a valid student ID when joining the tour
  • The booking is only valid for the program, date and person(s) listed on the ticket and not applicable to change.
  • Advertised online promotion codes are valid only for online bookings through the website.
  • Your online credit card payment is secured with Stripe payment provider.
  • If booking is cancelled beyond the advertised free of charge cancellation deadline 100% cancellation fee is applied. Failure to show up on time to the stated meeting point for the program is considered a no show and the fee is non-refundable
  • Bookings cancelled within free of charge cancellation deadline are entitled to full refund. Please note that the refund process may take up to 14 working days.
  • We are not responsible for unforeseen delays or accidents, loss of money, loss of any personal items or objects during tours. Tour guests are advised to have their own personal travel insurance. 
  • Confirmation voucher and receipt of booking will be sent via email once payment has been verified. If you do not receive a voucher within 30 mins of booking please contact our customer service at [email protected] immediately. Please also check your spam folder prior to emailing us for a voucher as sometimes emails are seen as spam.
  • Complaint procedure and conditions: Clients may submit complaints to [email protected] up to 7 days after the program. After 7 days we do not accept complaints.

Your Privacy

At Yellow Zebra tours we only use personal data such as name, address and email as specified by the data protection laws. Your personal data will not be passed on to third parties or sold. However we may use the data for our own marketing and statistical purposes. Also when necessary we’ll pass it to partner program providers in order to carry out a booking.
